Mohammad Salah makes history for Liverpool
Mohammad Salah has officially outdone Robbie Fowler by scoring his 129th goal in the PL and becoming the club’s leading goal scorer in the Premier League.
After the magical victory of Liverpool this Sunday, the Egyptian star has made a noticeable mark in the Liverpool history books.
Liverpool scored seven goals against Manchester United. Cody Gakpo scored the first goal at 43 minutes, closely followed by a second goal by Darwin Nunez at 47 minutes, who also scored another at 75 minutes. C. Gakpo scored his second goal at 50 minutes, making it the third goal for Liverpool. M. Salah scored two goals at 66 and 83 minutes. The final goal was scored by Roberto Firmino, leading Liverpool to a spectacular victory.
Salah ranks seventh on the Reds' all-time list behind Steven Gerrard, Gordon Hodgson, Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, and Fowler after his 178th goal for Liverpool in all the competitions so far.
Manager Jurgen Klopp claims that if Liverpool were to return to European competition, Salah will be the key, undoubtedly.
