Saka sets new Arsenal record
This Premier League season, Bukayo Saka has officially become the first player to reach a double-digit goal and assist total, breaking Arsenal's record.
Arsenal played against Crystal Palace this weekend, in which they scored a spectacular 4-1 victory. Saka marked his historic 10th assist by setting up Martinelli’s first goal. He scored his 12th goal for the Premier League when he scored the second and fourth goals.
Cesc Fabregas was considered to be the youngest player to set this record in 2009/10. However, Saka has broken Fabregas' record as he is now the youngest player, being only 21 years old.
Saka made a statement after the match that he wants this record to count for something. He said that if it made a difference for my team at the end of the season, it would make him happy.
